About Distance Learning Library Services

This site is dedicated to providing library research support to distance education students and faculty at JCHS. Most commonly, this support comes in the form of assisting users in selecting databases appropriate for their area of research. We can also help you to develop effective search strategies for locating full text information to be cited in term papers or other research projects. Our objective is to provide library support to distance education students and faculty that is as close as possible to the level of service that is provided to on-campus programs.

Reference Services

A highly trained reference librarian is available for assistance through this service. During the fall and spring semesters, assistance is available during the following times:

• Monday - Thursday 9:00 am to 1 pm and 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm
• Friday 9:00 am to 1 pm

Over summer session, assistance is available from 8:00 am to 5 pm on Monday - Friday.
